Mission
Reimagining the idea of waste
At EnviroCentric, we strive to create a closed-loop system by giving new meaning to what would otherwise be considered waste. Through partnerships with businesses and college campuses, we help such organizations divert waste away from landfills through the process of upcycling. Our resource recovery model gives new meaning to discarded materials, celebrating nutrients in all forms. As humans reach the limits of industrial production it is imperative that we utilize all precious resources in the most sustainable ways possible. To us, this means a system of upcycling “trash” into art.
Goals
Our team believes that investing in a circular economy is the means to creating a sustainable society. By reimagining the current waste management system in the US, trash will no longer be considered a waste product, but rather a valuable resource. We pursue a zero-waste future through the process of upcycling—Creating new products from what would otherwise be wasted while also retaining the materials’ original structural integrity and economic value. Our envirocentric model is based on the principle of nature first. In doing so, we advocate on behalf of the planet by informing the public on how to live an ethical life through ecological investments.
01.
Upcycle
Constructing a product from what would otherwise be thrown away, without compromising the structural integrity of the original material.
02.
Zero-waste
In an attempt to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, EC strives to create a closed-loop system based upon the cradle-to-cradle ideology.
03.
CREATE
The products we make are more than just single use expendables, rather pieces of art. Cultivating a circular view on the way we perceive “trash”.
04.
EDUCATe
Our pursuit for a green future does not end here. We advocate for sustainable commerce, encouraging a macro view of the natural world.
